Gastown Tasting Tour - Vancouver Food Tour This is not your average small-bites, sampling tour.  Think of it as a progressive dinner where guests dine their way through the historic Gastown district, Vancouver’s most vibrant restaurant scene and Canada’s cocktail capital.  Expect award-winning restaurants, inventive dishes, eccentric personalities, and inspiring decor.

We begin our adventure with a local beer tasting with food pairing. Craft beer is not only a trend but also a passion for many, including our well-versed guides. We compliment the 3 craft beers with signature appetizers to highlight Westcoast flavours.

Next, take a stroll in the neighbourhood and become acquainted with the hottest restaurants and historical landmarks.  Along the way, learn about the quarter’s legends and secrets where guests will enjoy 3 BC wines alongside a tasting plate trio with local takes on classic dishes.

Then hop a few steps over to a local purveyor of spice where they will sample uplifting specialties, paired with a hand-crafted cocktail.  This joint brings a unique vibe to this West Coast culinary experience.

  • Food: 3 delectable courses for a full dining experience
  • Drink pairings: 1 craft beer tasting (3 beers), 1 full wine tasting (3 wines) and 1 cocktail tasting
    • Non-alcoholic alternatives are available
  • Fun and informative guided walking tour

Time: 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Price: $110 CDN per person + GST

  • $3 ticketing fee added upon check-out

Minimum capacity: 4 guests (guests will be notified 24 hours before tour if minimum not met)

Maximum capacity: 12 guests for public tours. Private tours can accommodate more.

Guests must be 19 years or older (BC’s legal drinking age).  Exceptions are granted on a case-to-case basis. Please contact us.

For private or large group tours (e.g., stagettes, company or corporate parties, spousal tours), please contact us directly. We are happy to host your special event and will customize it according to your preferences and budget. We look forward to hearing from you. An 18% gratuity is added upon registration for parties of 6 or more.
