Vancouver is home to an internationally acclaimed craft cocktail scene. In fact, Tales of the Cocktail brought their first show on the road to our city in recognition of many our talented bartenders. We, at Vancouver Food Tour are so serious about our cocktails that we even dedicated a tour to it.
If your visit does not sync with our Craft Cocktail Tour dates, have no fear! Head down to The Refinery on a Wednesday night and tell Lauren Mote that VFT sent you. The passionate and skilled Lauren is not only an award-winning mixologist and the director for the Canadian Professional Bartender’s Association, she also runs the popular “Cocktail Kitchen Series”.
Cocktail Kitchen Series “promotes the integration of food and beverage science into a 7 month long competition that includes over 30 competitor bartenders, 7 regionally specific menus, and a 35 person “guest” judging panel each week. Bartenders are challenged to pair a three-course menu with three cocktails.”
3 courses, 3 cocktail pairings, and one entertaining evening, all for $35. What a fantastic deal!
