Things to do in Vancouver: Celebrating Sustainable Seafood – Spot Prawn Festival

Posted by on May 10, 2010 in News | 0 comments

The Fourth Annual Spot Prawn Festival (May 8th, 2010) was a huge success.  This popular and delicious event was hosted by Chefs Table Society the balmy Saturday afternoon. There was a tremendous turnout at the False Creek Wharf in Granville Island and the weather was simply perfect.

Attendees enjoyed platefuls of this local, sustainable seafood and chatted with some of our city’s best chefs.  Those patient enough to line up brought home bags filled with jumping prawns that were fresh from the boats!
