Salt Spring Island, an energetic hub of art studios, farms, and artisans is showing off its goods in a new and exciting way! Our new food-centric tour, guided by local culinary experts, features the best of the Island’s famed organic wines, cheeses, mussels, oysters, and much more.
Saltspring Air floatplanes charter the guests from Downtown, Vancouver onto Salt Spring’s docks where their guides await them. Alternately, guests can arrive by ferry to join the group on the Island.
Our delectable destinations include a lively cheese farm, an artisanal bakery, an eclectic Farmer’s Market (on Saturdays), an organic winery, a self-sustaining farm that supplies the farm-to-table restaurant, and a dock-side oyster bar.
The leisurely tour includes all meals, a wine tasting and pairing, 1 pint of Salt Spring Island craft beer, transportation, and accommodation recommendations.
