Vancouver Food Tour is hiring food tour guides to meet the demand of our busy spring and summer seasons. The guides are responsible to lead international visitors and local guests to Vancouver’s best restaurants while highlighting each neighbourhood’s history and features. At each destination, guests will taste Vancouver’s local flavors through craft beer, BC wines, and cocktails with food pairings. The guide’s performance will be reviewed by the guests at the end of each tour.
Candidates should be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, professional, extroverted, and die-hard Vancouver fans. The ability to demonstrate passion for food and the city of Vancouver is a must and hospitality expertise is a definite asset.
Guides should be available on weekends and after 4:30 pm on weeknights. This is a contract, seasonal position with varied hours. In other words, don’t quit your day job but be prepared to earn some healthy side cash, meet people from around the world, and have fun.
The compensation is generous and the guides will keep all additional tips from the guests. Food and beverages are included.
This job posting will close as soon as the number of candidates are met so don’t delay.
