Brittany Yu – Culinary Tour Guide
As our newest addition, Brittany brings a wealth of experience from the fine dining and hospitality industry to the Vancouver Food Tour team, but most of all, she brings an insatiable passion for food. Well traveled and always hungry, Brittany has sought out some of the best foods across continents.
Also known for her video blog, The Wandering Dumpling, Brittany chronicles her ongoing adventures in food and travel in an entertaining series that is fueled by her bubbly personality, sense of humour, and unhealthy obsession with Shanghainese dumplings.
With over 10 years of involvement in the Vancouver food scene, Britt is the kind of insider who knows exactly what to eat and where to eat it.
Nicole Coetzee – Culinary Tour Guide
A self proclaimed “Beer Nerd”, Nicole brings a hoppy perspective to the Vancouver Food Tour team. With one foot in the craft beer tank and the other in the local culinary scene, she can be spotted hopping all over town from up-scale restaurants, to homey delicatessen and tap-houses alike.
Nicole is involved with educating industry professionals, planning Vancouver Craft Beer Week events, and even brewed at a microbrewery in South Africa. This passionate food lover also dabbles in the wine and cocktail scene and knows exactly where to get an incredible meal, no matter the budget or cuisine.
With dreams of becoming British Columbia’s first female beer sommelier, Nicole recently completed the prestigious Cicerone certification exam. Keep an eye on her blog for updates. Fingers crossed!
